Help & FAQs
Put your images into one PDF. Arrange the pages and download, without uploading your files.
How to turn images into a PDF
- Choose images, a folder or ZIP, or drop them anywhere on this page.
- Arrange the pages and check their layout. A4 and auto orientation work without extra setup.
- The PDF updates automatically after import, ordering or settings changes. Download it and verify the saved document before sharing.
A document in your chosen order
Choose static JPEG, PNG or WebP images, a folder with subfolders, or a ZIP. Add more without replacing existing pages. Folder/ZIP images are sorted by filename, with 2 before 10; paths help distinguish duplicate names. Check the order and adjust it before exporting. Non-image files are skipped; unsupported or damaged images produce an import message. Reorder by dragging the handles or with the keyboard-accessible move buttons; remove any page before exporting.
A4 and automatic orientation are selected by default. Each image gets its own page, centered without cropping. Letter is available for US-sized documents. Fit image removes margins and uses 96 pixels per inch to determine the page size; it does not read physical DPI metadata.
Quality and local processing
The layout preview shows placement, not the generated PDF itself. Balanced quality re-encodes to JPEG at 85% and caps the longest side at 2000 pixels; high quality uses 94% and 3000 pixels. Neither mode enlarges the source pixels. Transparent regions become white; original EXIF metadata is not copied.
Each image is limited to 15 MB, 16 million pixels and 8192 pixels per side. A document accepts up to 20 images, 50 MB of input and 80 million input pixels; output is limited to 50 MB. Processing has a 45-second budget checked between steps. A native decode, encoding or serialization cannot be forcibly interrupted. Each folder/ZIP import allows up to 500 entries. Both ZIP size and declared/actual expanded bytes count toward the remaining 50 MB input budget, including skipped files; nested ZIPs are not expanded. Encrypted, ZIP64 and unsafe archives are rejected. Imports also have 45-second checkpoints, and cancelling keeps earlier pages. Files and results stay in this page’s memory.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine JPG and PNG in one PDF?
Yes. Static JPEG, PNG and WebP images can be mixed. Each valid image becomes one page in the order shown. Animated files and unsupported formats are rejected.
Will transparent images stay transparent?
No. This document workflow embeds white-backed JPEG images. Transparency is flattened to white, and JPEG compression may change details. Keep your originals.
Can I merge or edit an existing PDF?
This tool creates PDFs from images. It does not accept PDF input, merge PDFs, recognize text with OCR or produce archival PDF/A. A PDF is not guaranteed to meet another website’s upload rules.
